What is German?
Films for the Hamburg ISFF's Three-Minute Quickie competition must be entered by 1 April 2011
Each year, the popular Three-Minute Quickie competition gives short film makers a topic and asks them to make a film with a maximum length of three minutes about it.
This year, the topic is “German”. We're asking filmmakers to be efficient, do their wurst and put down their towels on the deckchairs of short film history. Or maybe your idea of Germany has more to do with techno nightclubs, nudist colonies and outdoor clothing than with Nazis, oom-pah music and engineering excellence? Let us know what you think is typically, stereotypically or uniquely German.
Enter your three-minute film on what is German by 1 April for a chance to win the Three-Minute Quickie audience award worth 1,000 euros in prize money. Ve haf vays of making you shoot!
